According to Galt&Taggart’s monthly economic review, Georgia's economy grew by 7.7% year-on-year in February 2025, following an 11.1% growth in January. Cumulatively, real GDP growth for the first two months of 2025 reached 9.4%.
This growth was largely driven by increased activity in the professional & scientific, ICT, transport, energy, and mining sectors, while manufacturing and construction saw declines.
Given the stronger-than-expected performance in early 2025, Galt&Taggart has revised its GDP growth forecast for the year to 6.8%, up from the previous 5.0% projection.
