
Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia, Gennady Arveladze, met with Austrian energy companies to discuss Georgia's renewable energy potential.
During talks with ANDRITZ Hydro executives, Arveladze highlighted Georgia's rich renewable resources and the company’s interest in large infrastructure projects like Nenskra and Namakhvani. ANDRITZ emphasized its commitment to supporting Georgia’s energy sector, including hydro, solar, and wind energy.
EVN, a major Austrian green energy investor, expressed interest in the Black Sea Submarine Electric Cable project, which would connect Georgia to the European market. European executives stressed the project's significance for regional energy cooperation.
