
According to Geostat, Georgia’s Construction Cost Index (CCI) rose by 0.2% in May 2025 compared to April, driven mainly by a 0.3% increase in construction material prices, which contributed 0.18 percentage points to the monthly change.
Year-on-year, the index increased by 5.0% compared to May 2024. This was primarily due to a 17.8% rise in average monthly wages in the construction sector, contributing 3.62 percentage points, and a 2.0% increase in construction material prices, contributing 1.23 points. Since February 2022, the CCI has risen by 23.1%.
