
During the OSCE Ministerial, Georgian Foreign Minister Maka Botchorishvili held a meeting with OSCE Secretary General Feridun Sinirlioglu, the Georgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported.
According to the ministry, Botchorishvili outlined the Russia–Georgia conflict and the severe security, human rights, and humanitarian situation in the occupied regions. She underscored the OSCE’s crucial role in supporting a peaceful resolution to the conflict.
The discussion highlighted the continued importance of the Geneva International Discussions. Botchorishvili expressed gratitude to the Secretary General for the OSCE’s consistent support for Georgia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
Both sides reviewed the broader security and stability challenges facing the country and emphasized the need to uphold international law to strengthen peace in the region. The meeting also addressed areas of ongoing cooperation between Georgia and the OSCE.
