
According to GeoStat’s preliminary 2024 data:

Wheat production rose by 1.0% to 148.5K tons.

Barley fell by 8.5% to 48.4K tons.

Maize jumped 16.8% to 223.0K tons.

Potato increased 12.1% to 221.1K tons.

Vegetables declined 5.4% to 134.3K tons.
Average yields improved for wheat (2.8 t/ha), maize (3.1 t/ha), and potato (15.6 t/ha), while barley (2.0 t/ha) and vegetables (10.2 t/ha) saw declines.
Sown areas dropped 4.0% overall to 195.7K hectares. Maize had the largest share at 71.2K ha, followed by wheat (54.0K ha) and barley (24.1K ha).
Fruit production rose 25.2% to 243.6K tons. Notable increases include:

Pome fruits (+46.8%)

Stone fruits (+22.0%)

Nuts (+14.7%)

Berries (+32.8%)
However, subtropical fruit and citruses dropped by 10.7% and 22.7%, respectively.
Grape production soared to 321.5K tons, up 45.7% year-on-year.
