The Georgian women’s para-fencing team earned an impressive third-place finish in the team competition at the World Championships in Iksan, South Korea, defeating Ukraine 45:42 in a tightly contested bronze medal match.
The team—comprising Irma Khetsuriani, Nina Tibilashvili, and Gvantsa Zadishvili—delivered a strong performance to secure Georgia's second medal of the tournament.
Earlier in the competition, Nina Tibilashvili had already made history by winning bronze in the individual event, marking Georgia's first medal at this year's championships.
With two bronze medals—one in the individual category and one in the team event—the Georgian women’s para-fencing team concluded the World Championships on a high note.
