
On September 6, 2023, Georgian airline Geoskys passenger operator Georgian Wings, made its first international regular flight from the Tbilisi Shota Rustaveli International Airport to the Baku Heydar Aliyev International Airport.

Flights with ATR72-500 aircraft for the Tbilisi-Baku-Tbilisi route will be performed regularly from September 6, which will ensure fast, comfortable and safe traffic between the two neighboring countries, and we hope that this decision will be the beginning of a long-term, close and fruitful mutual cooperation,” - Head of Georgian Wings Edison Phiphia said.
Georgian Wings aircraft successfully landed at the Heydar Aliyev International Airport. Baku International Airport traditionally greeted the Georgian aircraft with a water arch. The ceremony dedicated to the arrival of the first flight of Georgian Wings was attended by representatives of the airline, as well as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to Azerbaijan, Zurab Pataradze. They emphasized the importance of this event for the development of relations between the countries.

Georgian Wings will operate regular flights on the Tbilisi-Baku-Tbilisi route three times a week: on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.
