Georgian wines from 24 companies were prominently showcased at the three-day international fair ProWein Düsseldorf, with support from the National Wine Agency, the Georgian Embassy in Germany, and the Ministry of Environment Protection and Agriculture.
A key highlight of the event was a tasting session led by Georgian wine expert Inge Mainzer and German influencer Toni Askitis, featuring around 300 bottles from various Georgian wine varieties.
This year marked Georgia's 25th consecutive participation at ProWein Düsseldorf, providing wine experts, industry representatives, and guests the chance to explore a wide selection of Georgian wines.
According to the Ministry, Georgia's involvement in this fair is part of an effort to increase the visibility of Georgian products, diversify export markets, and ultimately drive sales growth.
Levan Mukhuzla, Chair of the National Wine Agency, and Acting Ambassador Ana Abuladze also met with ProWein Director Peter Schmitz to discuss future collaboration opportunities.
