
With the support of the National Wine Agency of Georgia and the organization of the agency's contractor company Wijnimport Bleeker, a Georgian wine tasting seminar was held in Amsterdam, the capital of the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
The event was attended by the Deputy Chairman of the National Wine Agency of Georgia, David Tkemaladze, the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Georgia to the Kingdom of the Netherlands, David Solomonia, and the Advisor to the Chairman of the National Wine Agency of Georgia, Giorgi Tevzadze.
"In order to increase the awareness and export potential of the Georgian wine, it is very important to hold similar events. The Georgian entrepreneurs are given the opportunity to hold wine tasting, master classes and presentations, informing the invited guests about the Georgian wine, its history, culture and modern wine industry," - said Davit Tkemaladze.
About 150 people attended the Georgian wine tasting, where 150 types of wines from 18 Georgian wine companies were presented, local wine experts, sommeliers, commercial, HoReCa and media sector representatives.
One of the main activities of the National Wine Agency of Georgia is promoting and raising of awareness of the Georgian wine in the international markets. As part of the promotion of the Georgian wine, since 2013, the agency has been carrying out targeted advertising and marketing campaigns in order to diversify the markets.
