The Georgian National Tourism Administration participated in the 121st session of the Executive Council of the United Nations World Tourism Organisation, which took place between Monday and Tuesday in Barcelona, Spain.

The Administration said Tamar Koriauli, the First Deputy Head of the body, represented the Georgian delegation at the session.

Opening the session, Zurab Pololikashvili, the Secretary-General of the Organization, stressed the need to “embrace innovation and grow and direct investment” into the sector in order to drive its positive transformation.

The event welcomed representatives of 47 countries.
