The Georgian trampoline gymnasts Ana Lapiashvili and Maia Bochoridze claimed a gold medal in the synchronised jumping among juniors at the European Championships, held in Guimaraes, Portugal.

Lapiashvili and Bochoridze scored 46.000 points and won first place in the tournament, set to end on Sunday.

In a team competition, Lapiashvili and Bochoridze, together with Nino Koridze, also claimed the first-ever European Championships gold medal on April 4.

The Georgian team members Luba Golovina, Mariam Ragimova, Teona Janjgava and Anano Apakidze also won the silver medals among seniors at the Championships.
