The Georgian tea Bueti is also sold in Great Britain and Germany. As the founder of the company Lado Dzneladze states with "Business Partner", “the organic tea produced in Tskaltubo has already been distributed to Europe and there is a great demand for it.”
A Georgian organic tea manufacturing company Okriba owns a 50 hectare tea plantation in Tkibuli municipality (the village of Buati, Tsutskhvati) and a tea and fruit processing plant in the village of Sadzire.
"We rehabilitated the tea plantations with the support of the state program. The company started producing organic tea under the Bueti brand this year," Dzneladze said.
The cost of the project is GEL 2 million.
According to him, the production capacity of the enterprise is 24 tons per season, however, now the company plans to produce 9 tons. Okriba Ltd produces 6 types of tea (packaged and brewing) under the Bueti brand.
As Lado Dzneladze notes, the tea produced in Tkibuli is sold in the local market in restaurants and two chain markets (Goodwill, Europroduct), as well as in Noste network.
