
Georgian State Minister for Reconciliation and Civic Equality, Tea Akhvlediani, held high-level discussions with leaders of UN agencies and international organisations to outline key cooperation priorities and explore future collaboration opportunities.
During the meeting, representatives from international organisations reviewed ongoing and completed projects in Georgia’s occupied Abkhazia region and proposed new initiatives aimed at supporting local communities and promoting reconciliation.
Minister Akhvlediani reaffirmed the Georgian government’s commitment to its reconciliation policy, which focuses on assisting conflict-affected populations, enhancing their socio-economic well-being, and fostering trust between divided communities through dialogue and shared initiatives.
All parties expressed readiness to deepen collaboration and agreed to intensify joint efforts in the future.
