The Georgian technological startup Theneo has attracted an investment of 1.5 million dollars with the support of the USA. The American Embassy published a joint photo of Kelly Degnan, the American Ambassador to Georgia, and Ana Robakidze, the founder of Theneo, on its Facebook page.
"We celebrated the great success of the Georgian engineer Ana Robakidze together. His company, Theneo, has raised $1.5 million in US-backed investment after gaining recognition in Georgia. Anna is a great example of why we support the development of an environment conducive to innovation and startups in Georgia," - the US Embassy said in a post.
To be reminded, Ana Robakidze's Georgian-American startup Theneo became the winner of the world's largest Web Summit competition. The conference was held in Lisbon and was attended by 70 thousand people and representatives of the leading companies and startups.
