Speaker of the Parliament of Georgia, Shalva Papuashvili, announced that he will participate in both a panel discussion and the general debate during his visit to Geneva for a major international conference.
Papuashvili is also scheduled to hold a series of bilateral meetings with European and other international parliamentary counterparts.
“The conference in Geneva continues today. I will have the opportunity to speak during the panel discussion and address fellow parliamentarians at the general debate,” Papuashvili said. “We will also discuss Georgia’s non-recognition policy, inter-state relations, and broader international challenges affecting our region.”
He highlighted the importance of the forum, noting that more than 100 parliamentary leaders from around the world are participating.
“This is a valuable opportunity for bilateral dialogue. It brings together parliamentary leaders globally to exchange views on key issues,” he added.
