At the international talks in Geneva, the Georgian side will discuss humanitarian issues in the occupied territories.
According to the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Lasha Darsalia, one of the main issues to be discussed in terms of human rights will be the difficult situation in the occupied territories.
"It is very important for us to focus on the current humanitarian issues - first of all, this is a difficult situation in terms of human rights in the occupied territories as a whole and especially in the Gali and Akhalgori regions. The Georgian delegation will raise the issue of the release of Irakli Bebua and other illegally detained Georgian citizens, as well as the acute humanitarian situation in the occupied territories", - said Lasha Darsalia.
The 54th round of talks in Geneva opened yesterday.
