According to the data of the Georgian Railway, in January-June the company received GEL 305,719,000 income, 5.3 million (1.7%) less compared to the data of 6 months of 2022. Other incomes are reduced to GEL 10.6 and GEL 3.5 million. In addition, the amount of expenditure on employees has increased by GEL 22.5 million, from GEL 97.4 million to GEL 119.9 million. Only in the second quarter, the revenues of the Georgian Railway amounted to GEL 167.8 million.
According to the data of 6 months, there is a 2.4%-decrease in annual terms. Only in the second quarter, the railway serviced 3.5 million tons of cargo, which is 8.2 percent less than the quantity recorded in the corresponding period last year.
