The Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze met with the President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, for a face-to-face meeting. During their discussion, they reviewed the friendly relations and cooperation between the two countries across various sectors, with a focus on the positive dynamics of their bilateral political and economic ties.

The two leaders emphasized the importance of transport and logistics projects, particularly highlighting the development of the Middle Corridor.

Prime Minister Kobakhidze expressed gratitude to President Berdimuhamedov for Turkmenistan's support of Georgia's territorial integrity and sovereignty and extended an invitation for the Turkmen President to visit Georgia.

The meeting took place at the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, where President Serdar Berdimuhamedov hosted the Georgian Prime Minister.
