For nearly half a century, His Holiness and Beatitude Ilia II, Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia, has guided the nation as its spiritual father, making an invaluable contribution to strengthening faith, spirituality, and moral values, Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze wrote on Facebook.

The Prime Minister expressed his deep appreciation for the Patriarch’s longstanding leadership and wished him continued health and strength.

“I wish him good health and strength to further reinforce the Orthodox values of the Georgian Orthodox Church and our nation,” Kobakhidze stated.
