Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Kobakhidze and Premier of the People’s Republic of China Li Qiang officially opened Georgia’s exhibition space at the China International Import Expo (CIIE).

According to the Government of Georgia, more than 40 Georgian companies are taking part in this year’s event, where Georgia is honored to participate as the Guest of Honour.

“Visitors to Georgia’s exhibition space can discover the country’s rich history and culture, its unique alphabet, centuries-old winemaking traditions, and its tourism and investment opportunities. The gastronomic area features traditional Georgian cooking masterclasses, wine tastings, and cultural performances.

This year marks Georgia’s eighth participation in the China International Import Expo,” the Government of Georgia stated.
