
Georgia’s Prime Minister, Irakli Kobakhidze, will participate in the European Political Community (EPC) Summit in Tirana, Albania, on May 16, following an invitation from European Council President Antonio Costa, according to the Georgian government.
The sixth EPC summit will bring together leaders from nearly 50 countries, along with heads of European and international institutions. The discussions will focus on key issues such as European security, economic and energy sustainability, and illegal migration. Additionally, the summit will explore topics related to innovation, digital infrastructure, and technological advancements.
The event will begin with a plenary session, followed by thematic round-table discussions. Prime Minister Kobakhidze will join a discussion on European security and democratic resilience.
Kobakhidze is attending the summit with a Georgian delegation that includes Foreign Minister Maka Botchorishvili and Head of Government Administration Levan Zhorzholiani.
