
Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Kobakhidze has begun a working visit to the People’s Republic of China. Upon arrival at Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport, he was welcomed by Vice Mayor of Shanghai Xie Dong.
At the invitation of Li Qiang, Premier of the State Council of China, the Prime Minister will attend the opening ceremony of the China International Import Expo (CIIE), where Georgia is participating as the guest of honour this year.
During his visit, Kobakhidze is also scheduled to hold a bilateral meeting with Premier Li Qiang.
The Prime Minister is accompanied by a high-level delegation including Minister of Foreign Affairs Maka Botchorishvili, Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Mariam Kvrivishvili, Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture Davit Songulashvili, Minister of Finance Lasha Khutsishvili, Minister of Infrastructure Revaz Sokhadze, President of the National Bank Natia Turnava, and Head of the Government Administration Levan Zhorzholiani.
