In an interview with China Media Group, Kobakhidze underscored the Expo’s significance in promoting bilateral cooperation and expanding market opportunities for Georgian products in China.
“I would like to thank our Chinese friends for the excellent organization of the event. I attended the opening ceremony, and it was a great privilege to be invited as a special guest to this forum,” Kobakhidze said. “We are very open and enthusiastic to promote cooperation with China — it is a crucial priority for Georgia. Participation in this forum provides another valuable opportunity to exchange ideas and strengthen our partnership.”
The Prime Minister highlighted Georgia’s diverse exports, noting that wine remains one of the country’s flagship products. He expressed satisfaction with the steady growth of Georgian wine exports to China and the increasing number of Chinese tourists visiting Georgia.
“Georgia is known for its wide range of products, and wine is one of the key ones. We are pleased that our wine exports to China are expanding. Likewise, we are delighted to see more and more Chinese tourists visiting Georgia each year. I believe Georgia will continue to grow as an attractive destination for Chinese visitors in the future,” Kobakhidze stated.
