“It is imperative that the European Commission favourably assesses Georgia’s progress toward alignment with EU’s acquis. We appreciate this positive assessment, which underlines the importance of implementing the 12 recommendations shortly so that Georgia can get candidate status as soon as possible,” the President said on the social network.

To be reminded, the European Commission published its Opinion on Georgia’s application for European Union membership.
