Georgian President Mikheil Kavelashvili signed the condolence book at the Holy See of the apostolic nunciature to express his sympathy following the death of Pope Francis.

The Presidential Administration shared that President Kavelashvili extended heartfelt condolences to the Catholic Church and its millions of followers worldwide.

The President is set to attend Pope Francis’s funeral, scheduled for April 26. The service will begin at 10 a.m. local time (4 a.m. ET) on Saturday, six days after the Pope’s death. World leaders, religious figures, royalty, and celebrities have confirmed their participation in the funeral at the Vatican.
