
Georgian President Mikheil Kavelashvili, accompanied by his wife Tamar Bagrationi and an official delegation, has commenced an official visit to the Republic of Serbia.
According to the Georgian Presidential Administration, President Kavelashvili was formally welcomed at Belgrade’s Nikola Tesla International Airport. The Georgian delegation was received by Serbia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Marko Đurić, Georgia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Maka Botchorishvili, Serbia’s Ambassador to Georgia Tatiana Panayotović-Cvetković, and Georgia’s Ambassador to Serbia Levan Beridze.
As part of the visit, an official welcoming ceremony will take place at the Palace of Serbia, where Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić will host President Kavelashvili. The visit’s agenda includes both one-on-one and extended bilateral meetings, followed by a joint statement to the media.
President Kavelashvili is also scheduled to hold high-level talks with Serbian Prime Minister Đuro Macut and Speaker of the National Assembly Ana Brnabić.
The Georgian Presidential Administration noted that the delegation includes Minister of Foreign Affairs Maka Botchorishvili, Members of Parliament Irakli Mezurnishvili, Irma Zavradashvili, and Guram Macharashvili, as well as Ambassador Levan Beridze and representatives of the Presidential Administration of Georgia.
