
President of Georgia, Mikheil Kavelashvili, has commenced his official visit to Armenia, where he was welcomed at Zvartnots International Airport by Armenia’s Deputy Prime Minister, Tigran Khachaturian.
During the visit, President Kavelashvili is scheduled to hold high-level meetings with Armenian President Vahagn Khachaturyan and Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. He will also meet with the spiritual leader of the Armenian Apostolic Church, Catholicos of All Armenians, Karekin II.
The Georgian delegation accompanying the President includes Ketevan Kvinikadze, Head of the Presidential Administration; Lasha Darsalia, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs; Giorgi Volski, First Deputy Chairman of the Parliament of Georgia; and Members of Parliament Samvel Manukyan and Sumbat Kyureghiani.
