
Georgian President Mikheil Kavelashvili has departed for the United States to attend the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York, the Presidential Administration announced.
During his visit, scheduled from September 21 to 26, President Kavelashvili will deliver a formal address to the General Assembly and engage in a series of high-level bilateral meetings, including talks with UN Secretary-General António Guterres.
The President is also expected to attend an official reception hosted by U.S. President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump, held in honor of the visiting heads of delegation participating in the Assembly.
The visit marks a key moment for Georgia’s international diplomacy, offering opportunities to strengthen global partnerships and highlight national priorities on the world stage.
