Georgian President Mikheil Kavelashvili will attend an official dinner and reception in New York tomorrow at the invitation of former U.S. President Donald Trump, according to Georgia’s Ambassador to the United States, Tamar Taliashvili.
“This visit is particularly significant, as it is packed with high-level meetings, panel discussions, and public speeches,” Taliashvili stated, emphasizing the diplomatic weight of the president's agenda.
Kavelashvili arrived in the United States on September 21. His visit includes participation in several major diplomatic events, culminating in a speech at the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly.
“In just a few days, the President of Georgia will address the international community from the UN podium,” said Taliashvili. “This week carries great importance, with peace, international order, and global stability as its central themes.”
The official dinner hosted by Trump is one of several engagements highlighting the President’s intensive diplomatic schedule during his U.S. visit.
