As part of his official visit to Tashkent, Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze, accompanied by Uzbek Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov, visited Uzbekistan’s Techno Park and the Electric Technology Factory, as reported by the Government Administration.
The two Heads of Government, along with Georgia’s governmental delegation, were welcomed by Sarvar Akhadov, General Director of the Techno Park.
Prime Minister Kobakhidze toured the Techno Park and observed the production processes at the Electric Technology Factory.
As Akhadov explained, the Techno Park, established in 2019, aims to organize manufacturing sites for industrial products, building materials, and appliances, with the goal of reducing imports and creating new jobs.
The Techno Park is involved in a range of projects, including the production of industrial air-conditioning and cooling systems, industrial water-heating equipment, elevators and escalators, panel radiators, steel structures, copper products, sandwich panels, solar-powered water heating collectors, electronic gas meters, and more.
