Georgian PM signs application for Georgia’s membership in EU

Irakli Gharibashvili has signed an application for Georgia's membership in the European Union. As Irakli Gharibashvili stated in his address to the citizens, today is a historic day.
"Today is a historic day for Georgia. I am signing the application for Georgia's membership in the European Union on behalf of the country. Applying for the EU membership is another important step on Georgia's path towards the European integration – a stage that opens a new page of our history," - Irakli Gharibashvili said.
