Georgia has set out “important and ambitious plans” spanning multiple sectors, including major reforms, Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze said at today’s government session.

Kobakhidze emphasized that education reform must take precedence, stressing that lasting progress is impossible without a strong education system.

“Education reform is the most critical priority,” he said. “This includes both higher education and general education. We have developed comprehensive reform concepts, and their effective implementation is essential for the development of every sector and the country as a whole. Without education, no achievement can be sustainable. That is why we must focus all our efforts on carrying out these reforms in both areas.”
