Georgian Dream party chairman and Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze stated, “We are ready to take every necessary step, as long as it doesn’t threaten peace and stability in Georgia,” when asked about preventing issues like visa liberalisation suspension, war involvement, or political turmoil.
Speaking at a party briefing, Kobakhidze emphasized their commitment to national progress: “Our team will do everything in our power to advance the country in all directions. It’s our duty to society, and we act with that responsibility.”
He criticized recent demands from European officials, saying, “Nearly all these conditions from European bureaucrats directly threaten Georgia’s peace and stability.”
Kobakhidze urged citizens to stay informed: “The public must ask why some European representatives are encouraging actions that could stir up hatred and radicalism here. People are watching and forming opinions. It’s vital they remain alert and scrutinize every step. We will do everything to ensure our nation continues progressing in every area. That’s our duty, and we’ll follow through.”
