The Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Gharibashvili met with Meir Shamir, Chairman of Mivtach Shamir Holding. The parties discussed the investment potential of Georgia and the prospects of future cooperation, including the areas of energy and agriculture. The conversation also touched upon the strategically important location of Georgia, the growing number of international visitors and the favorable tax conditions in the country.
Mivtach Shamir is one of the largest holdings that has been operating in the Israeli market in the fields of real estate, energy, finance and technology for more than 30 years. The company is also represented in India and USA.
The meeting held in the government administration was attended by Doron Gruper, a partner in the energy sector of Mivtach Shamir company, and Shlomo Gigi, an expert in the operation of power plants, while from the Georgian side - Georgia's Deputy Prime Minister/Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Levan Davitashvili and Deputy Minister Romeo Mikautadze.
