
Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze met with Türkiye’s Minister of Transport and Infrastructure, Abdulkadir Uraloğlu, during his visit to Tbilisi for the 6th session of the Georgia-Türkiye Intergovernmental Economic Commission.
According to the Georgian Government’s press office, the meeting centered on the strategic partnership between the two countries and explored opportunities to further deepen bilateral cooperation.
The role of the Joint Economic Commission was highlighted as a key platform for advancing trade and economic relations. The discussion also focused on major infrastructure projects of regional and strategic significance, emphasizing their importance in strengthening regional connectivity and integration.
In addition to economic topics, the meeting addressed current developments in the region. Prime Minister Kobakhidze reiterated Georgia’s commitment to promoting peace and stability in the South Caucasus and expressed the government’s readiness to act as a facilitator for regional dialogue and cooperation.
