
Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze met with Türkiye’s Minister of Health, Kemal Memişoğlu, during the latter’s official visit to Georgia. The two discussed strong bilateral cooperation in the health sector, highlighting progress in improving access to quality medical services and affordable medicines.
PM Kobakhidze expressed gratitude for Türkiye’s support, particularly in providing Georgian children with access to oncology treatment in Turkish clinics.
Following the meeting, Kobakhidze shared on social media:
“Had a constructive meeting with H.E. Kemal Memişoğlu, Minister of Health of Türkiye. I welcomed Türkiye’s continued support in the healthcare sector and reaffirmed Georgia’s commitment to deepening our partnership for the benefit of our citizens.”
