Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze, met today with Sultan Abdulrahman Al Marshad, Chief Executive Officer of the Saudi Fund for Development, to discuss ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation between Georgia and Saudi Arabia.

According to the Prime Minister’s press office, the discussion centered on expanding economic relations and identifying new investment opportunities.

“Particular attention was given to Georgia’s ongoing positive economic trajectory and the country’s investment potential, especially in sectors such as energy, road and port infrastructure, and airport development,” the statement noted.

Sultan Al Marshad is currently in Georgia as part of a working delegation visit.
