Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze, met with Anne Montavon, Head of the ICRC Delegation in Georgia, and Agnes Coutou, the ICRC’s Envoy on Missing Persons in the Caucasus.

According to the government press service, the discussion focused on ongoing cooperation between Georgia and the ICRC in the search for and identification of missing persons, highlighting the ICRC’s vital role in the process.

The meeting also addressed the situation in Georgia’s occupied territories and the need to support communities affected by conflict.

State Minister for Reconciliation and Civil Equality, Tea Akhvlediani, also took part in the meeting.
