As part of his official visit to Budapest, Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze held a meeting with Hungarian President Tamás Sulyok, the Georgian Government Administration reported.
The leaders emphasized the strong political relationship between Georgia and Hungary, along with their effective cooperation across various sectors. Both sides welcomed the upcoming session of the Georgia-Hungary Intergovernmental Commission as a key opportunity to further enhance bilateral ties in specific fields.
The meeting also focused on the challenges Georgia faces on its path toward European integration. Prime Minister Kobakhidze expressed his gratitude to President Sulyok for Hungary's continued support of Georgia’s European aspirations.
