“It is vital for us to expand and diversify our exports to China and further strengthen our trade relations,” said Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze after visiting the Georgian pavilions at the 8th China International Import Expo in Shanghai.
According to the Prime Minister, interest from Chinese companies in Georgian products is steadily increasing.
“Today we visited the Georgian pavilions at the Import Expo, where 29 Georgian products are being showcased,” Kobakhidze stated. “Our goal is to boost exports to China and continue deepening trade cooperation. We also met with Georgian entrepreneurs participating in the exhibition, who noted growing demand from Chinese companies for Georgian goods. This trend will have a positive impact on our country’s economic development, and we are determined to continue moving forward in this direction,” he added.
