At the official opening of the Paragraph Golf & Spa Tabori hotel, Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze praised the project as a landmark achievement for Tbilisi and a transformative addition to Georgia’s capital.

"Today we are unveiling Paragraph Tabori—a project that, through its scale, ambition, and vision, writes a significant new chapter in the modern history of our capital," Kobakhidze stated.

The Prime Minister expressed special gratitude to Bidzina Ivanishvili, the project's initiator, emphasizing his philanthropic role in shaping Georgia’s development.

“I want to thank Bidzina Ivanishvili, whose vision and generosity brought this project to life. His philanthropic contributions are exceptional in their purpose and impact. This project, like others he has supported, is not driven by profit but by a desire to stimulate growth in our cities, regions, and the country as a whole,” Kobakhidze said.

He underscored the project's broader significance: “Paragraph Tabori, part of Marriott’s prestigious Autograph Collection, raises Tbilisi’s profile as a top-tier destination for both tourists and business visitors. With its fusion of cutting-edge architecture, a world-class golf course—the capital’s first—luxury spa facilities, and a state-of-the-art cable car linking directly to Freedom Square, this complex is truly unique in the region.”

The Prime Minister highlighted the substantial investment behind the project—over GEL 500 million—as a clear sign of long-term confidence in Georgia’s economic future.

“This investment means hundreds of new, well-paid jobs for our citizens,” he noted. “Moreover, Paragraph Tabori is not a standalone effort. It is part of a growing hotel network developed by the Georgia Tourism Development Fund, which already includes properties in Tbilisi and Sighnaghi and will soon expand to Abastumani.”

In closing, Kobakhidze extended his appreciation to all involved: “I thank Bidzina Ivanishvili once again, along with the Tourism Development Fund, and every architect, engineer, and worker who helped turn this ambitious vision into reality. Paragraph Tabori will infuse new energy into our capital and serve as a model for Tbilisi’s future development.”
