Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze underlined Georgia’s sustained economic momentum during the signing of the 2026–2030 UN Sustainable Development Cooperation Agreement. He noted that from 2021 to 2024, Georgia posted one of the world’s highest growth rates, averaging 9.8%. In the first ten months of 2025, growth averaged 7.6%.

Kobakhidze added that international financial institutions expect this positive trend to continue. According to the IMF, Georgia’s economy is projected to grow by an average of 5.1% over the next five years—supporting the country’s progress toward achieving its sustainable development goals.
