The Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Kobakhidze met with the Minister for International Development Cooperation and Foreign Trade of Sweden Johan Forssell.

According to the Administration of the Government of Georgia, the conversation at the meeting touched on bilateral relations, which brought tangible results in both the political, trade-economic, defense and security, education and culture spheres.

One of the topics of conversation was the draft law "On transparency of foreign influence".

The Prime Minister noted that the purpose of the draft law is the submission of financial declarations by non-governmental organizations and relevant media once a year, which will help strengthen the state sovereignty of Georgia.

During the meeting, attention was paid to the security challenges in the region and the European integration process of Georgia. The Prime Minister emphasized the efforts of the Georgian government on this path and the importance of the support of Western partners.
