According to the government administration, the head of government stressed Georgia's unique location, strategic relations and free trade agreements with the EU, CIS countries, Turkey and China, which allow foreign investors free access to multimillion-dollar markets.
Irakli Gharibashvili thanked the French entrepreneurs for their visit to Georgia and their interest in the country's investment opportunities, noting that investors will receive maximum support from the Georgian government. According to the Prime Minister, the delegation of French businessmen confirms the great interest of France in the Georgian market, which is welcome and appreciated.
The delegation of the French Entrepreneurs Association includes businessmen working in the fields of infrastructure, construction, engineering, agriculture, energy and other fields, who are studying the potential investment projects in Georgia. During the visit, their sectoral meetings with various agencies are planned.
The meeting held at the government administration was attended by French Ambassador to Georgia Diego Colas, Deputy Prime Minister/Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture, Levan Davitashvili, Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, Natia Turnava and Head of Government, Ilia Darchiashvili.
