According to the head of the government, the prospects of strengthening the existing strategic partnership between the two countries were also discussed at the meeting.
"A fruitful meeting was held with the Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ali Asadov, in the format of the 9th session of the the Joint Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation between Azerbaijan and Georgia. We discussed the issues of regional stability, economic cooperation and energy security, as well as the prospects of strengthening the existing strategic partnership between our countries", - the Prime Minister Irakli Gharibashvili noted.
