Together with their spouses, the Prime Ministers visited the monastic complex and venerated the cathedral. The guests were hosted by Abba Davit, Metropolitan of Alaverdi.

The Prime Ministers familiarized themselves with an ancient wine cellar and exhibits discovered therein during archeological works. They also tasted qvevri wine made with an ancient technology in an 11th-century wine cellar.

Irakli Gharibashvili and Viktor Orbán visited the Alaverdi Monastery Complex together with the Hungarian delegation and Members of the Georgian Government.
