As Irakli Kobakhidze, chairman of the Georgian Dream, stated, the talks will "probably" focus on the issue of Georgia's third president, Mikheil Saakashvili, although their main task is to convey messages to the partners about the country's future development.

The main topic is to accelerate the country's European integration process, Georgia’s application submitted for full EU membership in 2024 and future orientation. 

In the Council of Europe, Irakli Kobakhidze held meetings with the European partners, including Commissioner for Human Rights, Dunja Mijatovic. The Georgian delegation also met with the leaders of the Congress of Local Authorities of the Council of Europe.
