
Shalva Papuashvili, Speaker of the Georgian Parliament, held a meeting with OSCE Secretary General Feridun Sinirlioğlu to discuss key political and regional matters, according to a statement from the parliament’s press office.
During the meeting, Papuashvili reaffirmed Georgia’s active commitment to the OSCE, emphasizing the country’s strong engagement with the organisation and appreciation for ongoing collaborative initiatives. In response, Sinirlioğlu stressed that the OSCE attaches great importance to Georgia’s stability and security.
The discussion touched on Georgia’s internal political developments, parliamentary activities, and the upcoming municipal elections scheduled for this autumn. Broader regional issues were also addressed, including prospects for enhanced regional cooperation.
