The visit to India will help bring the relations between our countries even closer, - Georgian Parliament Chairman Shalva Papuashvili told journalists.
He highlighted the significance of the trip, noting it is the first high-level visit in the history of Georgia–India relations. “It is important to lay the foundation for regular high-level exchanges and strengthen business ties between our parliaments. Our meetings will focus mainly on economic relations. India is one of the world’s largest economies, and Georgia, as a key country along the Middle Corridor, can be an important link for India to connect with Europe. Parliaments play a crucial role in creating the political environment needed for economic cooperation. I believe this visit will bring our countries even closer,” Papuashvili said.
