Currently, Georgia is the leading country on the continent in terms of economic growth, and this remains a top priority for our government," Papuashvili said.
He also spoke about the ongoing relationship between Georgia and the European Union, underscoring Malta's respect for Georgia's sovereignty. "The Speaker of the Maltese Parliament made it clear that the Georgian people should define their own political agenda. This reflects Malta’s full support for Georgia. I am pleased that our parliamentary relations are strong, and my personal relationship with the Speaker of the Maltese Parliament is based on mutual respect. Malta holds a special regard for Georgia," he added.
